Loudoun Symphony Youth Orchestra       


The Loudoun Symphony Youth Orchestra (LSYO) provides performing opportunities for middle and high school students who have at least three years of experience with a private teacher or in school music programs.

Participation is by audition only.  All members are re-auditioned annually.  For the 2016-2017 season, approximately 105 students auditioned of which 67 were accepted.

The season starts in September 2016 and goes through mid May 2017. Rehearsals are generally at Stone Bridge High School in Ashburn from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesdays.  Rehearsals include professionally directed sectionals, and master classes.

Tuition is $400 for the season. Some scholarships are available on a needs basis.


LSYO scheduled concert dates for this season are Saturdays:
November 19, 2016, March 18, 2017, & May 13, 2017.
